Award-winning vocalist, JOLYNN, is a fresh and comforting voice, an inspiring story, and an encouraging soul. A mother of 10 and mentor to many more, JoLynn’s powerhouse vocals bring honesty and sweetness to gospel music. 

 

In raising her 10 musical children, she inspired many of them to become musical artists themselves. As the matriarch of the ‘Yates Family Singers,’ JoLynn went on to win solo competitions such as the Sparrow Records Competition, and the People’s Choice Award at the Songbird Talent Challenge.  

 

JoLynn’s love for the Lord came at the tender age of 8, when a neighbor introduced her to Jesus. Her life-story is full of twists and turns, stormy seas, joys and sorrows, humorous moments and lots of laughter... but her love of her Creator has never waivered.
